So, its called a GTower.
It is the first building in Malaysia to achieve the globally recognised BCA Green Mark GOLD award (Provisional) from Singapore's Building & Construction Authority.
What is a BCA Green Mark?
This Scheme was launched by the Building and Construction Authority in January 2005 to promote environmental awareness in the construction and real estate sectors. It aims to achieve a sustainable built environment by incorporating best practices in environmental design and construction, and the adoption of green building technologies.
The Green Mark assesses five key environmental areas:
Energy Efficiency ; Water Efficiency ;Environmental Protection ;Indoor Environmental Quality
and Other Green Features . Proud to say, the GTower is 20 per cent more energy-efficient than a normal building and they achieved the GOLD rating.
We feel that the idea, A pay-as-you-use billing system for the use of air-conditioning by its tenants is very useful.
Not only it can prevent tenants to waste electricity, it can also let the tenants have awareness of it as they will have to pay for the amount they used.
yups, so CONGRATULATIONS to the GTower for sucessing of getting GOLD!

Impression and opinion on the reSACKel shopping bags.

Its good,at least better than using normal plastic bags or paper bags.
Like the article in iloveprojectwork blog says,the environment benefits in three ways:

It makes sense in using reSACKel shopping bags rather than other material-used bags.Fabric takes alot of further resources and energy to manufacture,which makes the whole process more difficult and harmful to the environment.In the mean while,these bags doesnt do anything to reduce the thousands of sacks thrown away everyday.Simply,saving the environment(: And not only are these bags not adding more waste to landfills,they are helping to keep waste out too.First impression of it isnt very good,as we will think of things like "is it strong enough to hold on weights?","Is it light and can be easily carried around?","Will ie be wasting our money,time and effort in trusting these bags will work well compared to the normal shopping bags that we usually use?"But upon seeing through the processes and things to make us know more about those bags,we found out that it actually is strong enough.We also go through the process in the web to find out what and how they do to make up these reSACKel bags,and we're sure that its safe and good to use.So our opinion is that using these reSACKel bags will help in protecting and saving the environment.
